Streets Maintenance Division

Street sweepers are not designed to pick up large pieces, piles, or wet debris. Here's how you can help improve the cleanliness of your street:

• Avoid piling leaves or other debris in the street or gutter
• Don't rake, sweep, or blow leaves or other debris in the street or gutter
• Keep palm fronds and long twigs and branches out of the street or gutter
• Remove portable basketball hoops and RV access ramps from the street or gutter

Street Sweeping Schedule:

• For residents WEST of Madera Avenue -Tuesday 
• For the residents EAST of Madera Avenue - Friday

The City maintains the street lights, traffic signals, and repairs potholes. If you find any in need of maintenance, contact Public Works at 559-550-0848 or submit the Public Works Maintenance Request Form online. 

As leaves begin to fall, residents are reminded not to rake or blow leaves into the street. Leaf buildup can obstruct street sweeping operations and block catch basins inlet, resulting in flooding.
