Streets Maintenance Division

The City provides sweeping service to curbs of residential, business districts, and main arterial streets. They remove debris from our streets and prevent it from entering storm drains. Street sweeping also helps the City comply with state and federal stormwater quality requirements.

Street sweepers are not designed to pick up large pieces, piles, or wet debris. Here's how you can help improve the cleanliness of your street:

  • Avoid piling leaves or other debris in the street or gutter
  • Don't rake, sweep, or blow leaves or other debris in the street or gutter
  • Keep palm fronds and long twigs and branches out of the street or gutter
  • Remove portable basketball hoops and RV access ramps from the street or gutter

Street Sweeping Schedule:

  • For residents EAST of Madera Avenue - Fridays 
  • For the residents WEST of Madera Avenue - Tuesdays
