The Building Department is responsible for inspecting the construction of all new and existing structures for conformity with approved plans and permits and for compliance with state and local building code requirements. Inspections are required after obtaining a building, electrical, plumbing, or mechanical permit. You will be informed of the required inspections for your project when your permit is issued. Building inspections are scheduled by contacting the Building Division.
Inspections are available for scheduling on:
- Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
- To schedule an inspection you will need to call by 4 pm one day prior to the requested inspection date.
- Monday inspections will need to be called in Friday before 4 pm.
