To kick off the day, the 5K Walk Run begins at 9:00am with 5 different races. Following the walk/run, the Salsa competition begins! Contestants will have 1 and 30 minutes to make their best Salsas. Tasting tickets will be sold for $1.00 per person and each ticket will allow for one vote for people’s choice. Private judges will select the winner for Best Salsa in Kerman. Both People’s Choice and Best Salsa in Kerman winners will receive a basket full of kitchen goodies! Not a salsa maker? Enter our baking competition! All goodies must highlight the Almond and its wonderful flavor. Private judges will select the best baked good in each category. Not a kitchen whiz? No problem – enter the photo competition. This artistic category features a Kerman section and an Agriculture section. One photo will be selected for the cover of the 2026 Sebastian Phone Book. You can also enter your ride into the car show! Winners will be chosen for best car, best truck, and best motorcycle. Check out all our contests online for more details. You’d be nuts to miss it!
