CALL FOR APPLICATIONS – KERMAN PLANNING COMMISSION
The City of Kerman is accepting applications for appointment to the Planning Commission.
The Planning Commission is comprised of five (5) members appointed by the City Council for three-year terms. The Planning Commission advises the City Council on land use matters, including general plan amendments, zoning changes, environmental impact determinations, annexations, and other related matters. The Commission also makes decisions on site plans, use permits, subdivisions, and variances. The Planning Commission meets on the second Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m., in the City Council Chambers. Currently there are two appointments to be made, terms will begin in January 2025 and will be expiring December 31, 2028.
The Mayor will make appointments which are subject to approval by the City Council at a meeting of the City Council. All applicants will be provided with notice of said Council meeting.
Residents who are at least 18 years old and live in the City of Kerman Sphere of Influence are eligible to apply. Applications are available on the City of Kerman website www.cityofkerman.net or at City Hall, 850 S. Madera Ave. Filing deadline is 4 p.m. on Tuesday, December 31, 2024.
