CALL FOR APPLICANTS – KERMAN PARKS, RECREATION AND COMMUNITY SERVICES COMMISSION
The City of Kerman is accepting applications for appointment to the Kerman Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Commission.
The Kerman Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Commission provides advice and recommendations to the Community Services Director and the City Council on the operation and maintenance of City parks, the Kerman Community Center, and other City public or recreation. Meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m., in the City Council chambers. Currently there is one appointment to be made, term beginning January 2025 and expiring December 31, 2028.
The Mayor will make appointments which are subject to approval by the City Council at a meeting of the City Council. All applicants will be provided notice of said Council meeting.
Residents who are at least 18 years old and live in the Kerman Sphere of Influence are eligible to apply. Applications are available on the City of Kerman website www.cityofkerman.net or at City Hall, 850 S. Madera Ave. Filing deadline is 4 p.m on Wednesday, November 20, 2024.
