Teen Recreation Division creates a diverse and approachable environment to provide youth the opportunity to learn confidence and integrity. They offer a broad spectrum of services and healthy recreational options to meet the changing needs of Kerman's youth.
The Kerman Youth Commission is an Advisory Commission for the City of Kerman Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department on activities, events and programs that address the needs of Kerman's youth during non-school hours. Youth Commission members participate in various community service projects and events throughout the year.
The Kerman Youth Commission accepts new applications (PDF) August through September for the following school year.

For the seventh year the City of Kerman Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department, Youth Leadership Institute (YLI) and Kerman Unified School District, presented the 2022 Kerman Teen Summit on Saturday, April 23rd. Youth leaders from the Kerman Youth Commission and YLI Friday Night Live club teamed up to plan this year's Summit.
