Special Events

The City of Kerman Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department offers a variety of community-wide special events throughout the year for children and adults of all ages. These events bring people together to have a good time and provide great opportunities to meet your neighbors and renew acquaintances. We look forward to seeing you at these events!

Kerman Almond Festival

Almond Fest Logo TaglineThe Third Annual Kerman Almond Festival will be held Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. It will be held at Kerckhoff Park, located at 15061 W. “G” Street. This a FREE family event.

The event kicks off with a Benefit Run/Walk at 9 am and funds raised will go towards an Agriculture Scolarship. All family members are invited to join the fun! Following the Run/Walk, the Festival will begin at 11:00 am.  Enjoy live entertainment, a variety of food vendors, an Almond Baking contest, Kids zone with bounce houses, an Agricultural-Related Photo Competition, Wine Tasting, Arts & Crafts, Car Show and much more!

Kerman Earth Day and Easter EggstravaganzaEggstravaganza

Celebrate spring in 2018 at the annual Earth Day/Eggstravganza on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Lions Park. Activities include games, face painting, pictures with the Easter bunny, Earth Day activities and Egg Hunts for kids ages 1-12 years old.
