Plaza Veterans Park


Location: 1000 S. Madera Avenue and West A Street.

Plaza Veterans Park (3.3 acres) was Kerman’s first park facility and is now the beautiful focal point of downtown Kerman. Plaza Park is home to the Veteran’s Circle of Honor in appreciation to those men and women who have bravely served our country. The park’s mature palm and majestic oak trees command admiration, and provide shade to much of the park throughout the afternoon. Other park amenities include; restrooms, park benches, walking paths, picnic tables, lighting, canopy structure and is handicap accessible.

Driving Directions 

From the north — Head south on Madera Avenue as you enter Kerman. Continue heading South on Madera Avenue for approximately one mile. Plaza Veterans Park will be located within the center divider of Madera Avenue at Kerman’s south entrance.

From the south — Head north on Madera Avenue as you enter Kerman. Plaza Park will be located within the center divider as Madera Avenue splits.

Park usage reservations can be made in person at the Recreation Office, located at the Community/Teen Center, 15101 West Kearney Plaza. Telephone reservations are not accepted. Reservations are made on a first-come basis.
