The Planning & Development Services Department is responsible for regulating all the land development that takes place within the city. The department is made up of three divisions: Planning, Building and Engineering. These three divisions work together to provide the city with an aesthetically pleasing, clean and safe environment.
Planning Division – current planning related to site plans, conditional use permits, zoning enforcement, environmental review & general plan implementation.
Building Division – guidance on new construction projects, issuance of building permits, and plan check services, as well as inspections.
Engineer Division – parcel maps, lot lines, utility master plans, and plan reviews for public & private construction projects.
Weed Abatement – elimination of a fire hazard or nuisance as defined by City’s ordinances.
