The City of Kerman is accepting applications for appointments to the Kerman Planning Commission.

The Planning Commission serves as the advisory body to the City Council on all land use matters, including but not limited to, general plan amendments, zone changes, site plan reviews, conditional uses, and subdivision maps. The Planning Commission meets on the second Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers.

Currently there are 3 appointments to be made, 2 for three-year terms beginning January 1, 2018, expiring December 31, 2020 and 1 for a one-year term to fill a vacant position ending December 31, 2018. Citizens residing within the Kerman Unified School District boundary or working within the City are eligible to apply.

\Applications are available at City Hall, 850 South Madera Ave. or click here. The filing deadline is 5:00 p.m. on November 28, 2017. Applicants may be interviewed by the City Council. Appointments will be made at the City Council meeting on December 6, 2017, and effective January 1, 2018.
