Katey’s Kids Park (2.85 acres) Kerman’s newest neighborhood park is named in honor of Katey Sebastian. She devoted her life to the improvement of the lives of the children in her community through literacy, education and community development. The park features a park/play environment that allows children, families and community to experience the many benefits of recreating in a natural setting. The result is a park that will include a, playground, hill climbing wall & slide, natural paths, interpretive trail, picnic areas with log picnic shelters, lots of trees, open grass area and restroom.
Driving Directions From the north — Head south on Madera Avenue as you enter Kerman turn right (west) on Whitesbridge Avenue/CA-180. Turn left (south) onto S. Siskiyou Avenue. Take the first left (east) onto W. Gateway Blvd.
From the south — Head north on Madera Avenue. Turn left (west) onto Whitesbridge Avenue/CA-180. Turn left (south) onto S. Siskiyou Avenue. Take the first left (east) onto W. Gateway Blvd.

Park usage reservations can be made in person at the Recreation Office, located at the Community/Teen Center, 15101 West Kearney Plaza. Telephone reservations are not accepted. Reservations are made on a first-come basis.
