The Kerman community offers “Cooling Centers” for residents to come and get out of the heat. Locations designated as “Cooling Centers” are open during the hours listed below.

Centers in the City will open when the National Weather Service predicts temperatures to be 105° or greater. Residents are welcome to take advantage of local cooling centers.

Scout Hut:  Monday - Friday Noon to 9:00 pm located at Kerckhoff Park (off 4th  & E St.) 846-4809 or 846-9383

Senior Center: Monday – Friday Noon to 4:00 pm Senior Center is located at 720 Eighth St.  846-4809 or 846-9383

Kerman Library:  Monday - Tuesday 10:00 am to 5:30 pm and Wednesday to Thursday Noon to 7:00 pm | Friday to Saturday 10:00 am to 3:30 pm the Library is located at 15081 W. Kearney Blvd. 846-8804
